Brabant Dementia Day; provincial information day on dementia
The "Brabant Dementie Dag 2012" (Dementia Information Day of in the province of North Brabant - NL) is an initiative of the "Programmaraad Zorgvernieuwing Psychogeriatrie" - the provincial knowledge and expert centre on psychogeriatry that was organised in collaboration with Fontys University of Applied Sciences, Zet - the knowledge centre for social infrastructure in North-Brabant and the Province of North Brabant on November 9th in Eindhoven. Twenty workshops were organised, including one workshop on the Innovate Dementia project which was attended by 19 participants. The project was introduced with a powerpoint presentation by Anne Landstra (Brainport Development N.V. - Lead Partner). Rens Brankaert (TU/e) and Liselore Snaphaan en Harriët Verbeek (GGzE) gave a brief outline of the Eindhoven Living Lab and three potential innovations: the Activity Manager, Music Table and the Active Lamp.
Participants discussed in small working groups;
- Target groups: who are the potential users of these innovative products?
- Living Lab: how are these innovative products tested?
- Networking: which partners do you need to collaborate with to make these innovative products available?
The discussion provided the Innovative Dementia partners lots of useful information to set up the Living Lab in Eindhoven
