‘Building Dementia care of the Future: What can we learn from each other?”

 

On March 4th 2015 we welcome you to our “Building dementia care of the future” symposium at the theatre of the General Hospital Turnhout in Turnhout. Everyone involved in care for people with dementia can join this networking event, especially all people and organizations engaged in providing the best dementia care possible will benefit from participating.

 

We will present a wide range of innovations in dementia care developed by the partners of the “Innovate Dementia” initiative, made possible by the INTERREG IVB program. You will receive a more detailed program later but we already provide you with the general outline of the day.

  • Relevance of psycho-education by Expertisecentrum Dementie, Flanders, BE.  
  • Involving students and young volunteers in dementia care by Alexianer Research Center Krefeld, DE.                                           `
  • What about quality in Dementia care? By St. Annadael, Diest, BE.
  • Co-creation with people living with dementia by Liverpool John Moores Univeristy and Mersey Care NHS Trust
  • Lunch and Networking.
