Dementia - Innovative care for persons with dementia
Innovate Dementia participation during previous ENoLL Event in Amsterdam
The Innovate Dementia Transnational Living Lab is now an accredited member of the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL). The successful accreditation of the Innovate Dementia Living Lab was the outcome of a stringent evaluation process where just over 50% of submitted proposals were successful. New members are recruited accepted through a ‘wave’ process which dates back to 2006, this process to date has resulted in over 340 ENoLL accredited Living Labs. On the 5th of September 2014, ENoLL announced the results of the 8th ‘wave’ of membership and officially welcomed newly accredited members. The official welcoming ceremony took place during the proceedings of the ENoLL annual Living Lab conference, hosted this year at the De Nieuwe Liefde in Amsterdam.
Additionally a paper from the Innovate Dementia project was presented concerning the protocols used to involve elderly with dementia. The paper discussed, over three Innovate Dementia project, how we have grown in understanding the target group. The paper received many positive responses, and inspired other starting living labs in the healthcare domain.
