Innovate Dementia Symposium for Care Professionals in Eindhoven
The Eindhoven partners of the Innovate Dementia project organised a symposium to inform care professionals in the region about the Innovate Dementia project and the Eindhoven Living Lab. This symposium was in Dutch only.
Dr Liselore Snaphaan (Living Lab manager at GGzE in Eindhoven) presented the stat of the art of the Lving Lab in Eindhoven: what is a Living Lab, how is it organised, who is participating and what products are developed and tested.
Prof. Rose-Marie Droës (Alzheimer Centre VUMC Amsterdam) gave a presentation on innovations from the perspective of end-users (persons with dementia and their carers) and care professionals.
Prof. Jan Steyaert (Flanders Dementia Expert Centre in Antwerp) informed the participants on dementia care in Flanders. The effects of light on depression and sleep on people suffering from dementia was explained by Dr. Els Most of Philips Research in Eindhoven.
This symposium is reported in an innovative way. A so-called visual report - a digital magazine (in Dutch only) of this symposium with the key elements of the presentations and impressions of the participants was shown immediately after all presentation as closure of the symposium.
